Dear Inglis Families,
I hope you are enjoying these last weeks of summer. As we prepare for the year ahead, I want to take a moment to introduce myself and share how excited I am to join you as principal of Inglis Street.
Over the past five years I’ve served as a Vice Principal with HRCE, and one thing I’ve learned is that schools are strongest when families and the school team work closely together. I see my role as helping to build and strengthen those relationships so that every student feels supported, challenged, and cared for. Outside of work, I’m part of a family of four with my wife and our two young children, which gives me an even greater appreciation for the important partnership between home and school.
In the weeks ahead, you can expect two things:
Thank you to those of you who have already reached out - it’s been wonderful to start making those connections. For those I haven’t yet had the chance to meet, I’ll do my best in the weeks ahead. You’ll also see me out front of the school each morning, and I look forward to connecting with families there as we start the year together.
